Dan has spent his career as a senior executive, operator, entrepreneur, investor, advisor, and Board Member. Most recently, he was a partner at Oak HC/FT where he led growth equity and early-stage venture opportunities in FinTech.
Dan currently serves on the boards of Pagaya Technologies (NASDAQ:PGY), Sure Inc., and Nokod Security. He is also a Board Advisor at Ocrolus. Previously, he served on the Board of Quovo (sold to Plaid), Next Capital (sold to Goldman Sachs), Kryon (sold to Nintex), IMMO, Panorays, EasySend, and Ethic.
Before becoming an investor at Oak HC/FT, Dan was a Senior Vice President at Intralinks where he was part of the leadership team when Intralinks merged with Synchronoss Technologies. Dan joined Intralinks after Verilume, the cloud computing company he co-founded, was sold to Intralinks.
Dan had a lengthy career as a Senior Executive at some of the world’s best known Financial Services companies before embarking on his second foray as at Technology entrepreneur.
Dan was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he led technology for the investment management division and sat on several divisional and firmwide committees. He held the position of Chief Information Officer with Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for all aspects of Fidelity’s technology portfolio. Before joining Fidelity, Dan was Co-Chief Information Officer at Morgan Stanley.
His first role as a Technology entrepreneur was at StorageApps, the breakthrough company in storage virtualization, where Dan was President and a Board Member prior to its sale to Hewlett Packard. Dan learned how to be a technologist working at Bell Laboratories on the world’s first multi-location video teleconferencing network.
Dan is the author of two books, Successful Reengineering and The Fast Forward MBA in Technology Management.
Dan has a JD from Seton Hall University Law School and a B.A from Moravian University.
